KIT Campuses and Learning Centres

Betio campus in South Tarawa is the main KIT campus. Following recent renovations, Betio now houses the KIT Administration Office, School of General Studies (SOGS), Quality Office, Student Support Services (SSS), School of Hospitality, Aged Care & Community Education (SOHACCE), The School of Applied Technology (SOAT), School of Business (SOB), Youth Learning Centre and the Trade building.
The Ronton campus in Kiritimati continues to serve as an important learning hub for students in the Line Islands, Until recently, the Kiribati Institute of Technology (KIT) Kiritimati branch was based at the Ministry of Line and Phoenix Islands Development (Linnix). Last year, the campus relocated to a new site - formerly an eye clinic building - located directly opposite the Kiribati Provident Fund (KPF) in Ronton. The KIT Kiritimati campus accommodates three academic divisions: the School of General Studies and the School of Business & School of Hospitality, Aged Care & Community Education.
The Taburao campus in Abaiang operates from a dedicated building within the Taburao Island Council. At present, only the Certificate I in English program is delivered at this location, under the School of General Studies, supporting foundational English language skills for students in Abaiang.
The KIT Learning Centre in Abemama is located in Kariatebike village. Similar to Abaiang, the centre currently delivers only the Certificate I in English program under the School of General Studies, providing essential language training to students on the island.
