The KIT Difference

KIT’s Employment Support Services Centre is a dedicated resource providing assistance for I-Kiribati workers to connect with employers and prepare for overseas employment. The Centre works closely with the Ministry of Employment and Human Resource and provides a range of services such as pre-departure briefing programs and industry-specific English language courses.

  • KIT teaching staff hold internationally recognised qualifications in the area of their vocational expertise and training and assessment. Teaching staff endeavour to cater for students' individual learning styles in the classroom. KIT qualifications undergo regular review and updating to ensure they meet industry demand.

  • There are four campuses at KIT: Betio, Abemama, Ronton/Kiritimati and Abaiang. Course offerings change each year. The main campus at Betio houses the Executive, Administration and support staff offices. KIT features workshops fitted with industry-standard equipment, as well as IT labs and a recently renovated library.
